Timothy Simon, referred to by his nickname, Sketch, is one of four protagonists in Peace Sign. Sketch is present throughout the entirety of Peace Sign, from the prologue of his childhood to the final chapter.
Sketch acts as the unspoken leader of Team Peace Sign, composed of the four main characters of Peace Sign, when the presence of a gang of delinquents and outsiders threatens the safety of the city of Lilian.
Appearance[]
Sketch is relatively simple in his fur patterns, being almost completely covered in yellow fur, with three orange "cheek fluffs" protruding from either side of his face. Two small triangles of orange fur also wrap around the outer bottom sides of each ear. Sketch has four cuts on his right ear, and a bandaged section at the end of his tail. A small, light pink heart is also seen on both of his palms, as well as on his soles.
Throughout Peace Sign, Sketch wears a grey scarf, a red and white varsity-style jacket, various solid-colored t-shirts, light blue jeans with cuffed ankles, and black-and-white sneakers. Occasionally, Sketch is seen without his jacket or scarf, which are predominately seen due to the fall weather during Peace Sign.
Personality[]
Sketch grew up in a single parent household after his abusive father left him and his mother when Sketch was 9, forcing him through a childhood of anxiety and guilt. As a young teen, he still suffers from anxiety, making him visibly nervous, mildly antisocial, and virtually friendless before the events of Peace Sign. Despite his upbringing, Sketch is a happy-go-lucky "momma's boy", and enjoys the company of others, despite his physical reactions.
Sketch is a natural leader, even when he's unaware of it, and is critical to the success of Team Peace Sign's efforts to protect their families and their home from the invasive gang that threatens them. Before Peace Sign, Sketch had next to no fighting experience or skills, and collapsed in fear in the first fights against gang members. However, over the course of the story, Sketch becomes more confident in his abilities, and develops into a fast and persistent force in fights thanks to training with Nikolai.
